ESHANI PATEL is a prominent Los Angeles and Dallas-based commercial choreographer, professional dancer, and cross-cultural content creator with over 1.5M+ followers across platforms. Driven by a passion for fusing her South Asian and Western identities, she has built a global reputation for creating groundbreaking, high-energy Bollywood fusion choreography and spreading cultural appreciation through movement.

Her technical foundation began in childhood with seven years of intensive Bharatnatyam training, culminating in her Arangetram. While earning her degree, she danced for four years on UPenn’s premier competitive Bollywood fusion dance team, Penn Masti, serving as female lead during her senior year. Throughout her dental school years, Eshani continued to elevate her performance career by dancing with Aluminati Dance, the national All-Star Bollywood Fusion team, for two years.

Following graduation, Eshani moved to Los Angeles to deeply immerse herself in Western commercial styles, training extensively in Hip Hop, Shuffle, and House. Bridging her two worlds, she launched a viral global movement by coining the hashtag #desishuffle, famously fusing intricate shuffle footwork with South Asian music and dance styles. For this reason, she co-founded DesiFuze in 2021, traveling internationally to teach sold-out masterclasses focused on this signature fusion. Her creative impact and performance caliber led her to win Season 1, Episode 8 of Shakira’s NBC dance competition series, Dancing With Myself.

Today, Eshani works as an industry-level music video choreographer, commercial movement director, and high-impact digital creator. She is a proud Sony Audio Ambassador and frequently secures major brand partnerships with global names like NBA India, WhatsApp, and Nordstrom Rack. Whether directing an unreleased major network pilot, choreographing for artists like Akaash Singh, or running official song promotions for global music labels like DesiTrill ("Higher Love") and superstar artists like Ed Sheeran ("Sapphire"), Eshani continues to redefine modern dance fusion.

Currently based between both Los Angeles and Dallas, she balances ongoing dance training with a busy international schedule teaching Dance Workshops, taking on commercial choreography projects, and collaborating with global brands.
